The rifle has the early style long claw extractor.The 22" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle is in excellent original condition retaining 98% of the original blue and 95% of the origianl wood finish. There is a light scuff mark on the left side of the stock (shown in photo). No other damage is visible. The Mauser short action calibers were only made for a short time bafore Browning moved the short action calibers to the more common Sako action.
