Custom Engraved BRNO Model 22H - 8x57mm Mauser

Here is a very pretty gun! This is a BRNO model 22H chambered in 8x57 Mauser. This rifle has a beautiful custom carved and checkered stock with multiple inlays and a very comfortable angular Austrian style cheek piece. The butt plate is a toe and heel cap stype and is expertly installed and engraved. The triggers are double set style and the action has a sleek butterknife style bolt. The floorplate is beatifully engraved. The action is also engraved and the rifle is fitted with an Optikotechna scope in claw style rings that locks in solid but removes with a press of the relase buttons. There are iron sights present too with can be used with the scope removed or attached as the rings are look through style. The scope is slightly hazy as it is an older scope. Nice period leather sling is included. The barrel is marked 47 indicating manufacture in 1947. This is probably a rifle built for a US military man stationed in Europe after WWII. This kind of quality and craftsman ship would cost many times this price if made today. Thanks for looking!
