BRNO ZKW 465 22 Hornet Shooter grade

Description:
Shooter grade BRNO ZKW 465 .22 Hornet. S/N 22***. These are far and away the slickest 22 hornets ever manufactured, are quite scarce, and I have sold exceptional examples for up to $1800 in the past. This particular rifle seems mechanically fine but has a few discrepancies that account for the low price. The barrel has been cut off to 17". There is also a repaired crack running lengthwise on the left side of forearm. Overall finishes are nice, with the exception of some discoloration around the flattened and plugged barrel sight dovetail (probably done for scope clearance) and a slight discoloration of muzzle end barrel blue. I have personally verified that the chamber remains a true hornet and has not been reamed to "K". The set trigger works perfectly. Should make a nice truck or ranch gun or just a fun and inexpensive plinker that will still reach out there. It is my understanding that rifle barrels may be cut down to 16" and shotgun barrels 18". Please be certain that a 17" rifle barrel is legal in your area before buying!
