Mauser Model 98 action Benchrest .22-250. The action on this rifle is butter smooth and show signs of superior workmanship and the trigger is very light... Very light, way less than half pound. My trigger scale would not get a reading before the trigger went off. The safe is functional, however the trigger trips when the safe is moved to the off position. This rifle is for a pro and was used by one on 1000yd dogs. The barrel is 26" with a clean chamber and bore as viewed with a bore scope, no throat erosion, no provision for open sights, marked 22-250 on the rear left, blue is strong. The stock is walnut shaped in a bench rest style with a large, flat bottom fore end and a raised comb, chequering and finish are nice, 13 1/4" length of pull to a chequered steel pad 10lbs 2oz. 078431 $900.00
