Description: 30 inch heavy weight part octagon barrel chambered in 32-40 caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a globe front with no rear seat and a Stevens adjustable folding tang with six position aperture. Stevens-Pope barrel retains about 95% original blue. Receiver has about 75% case color. Nicely engraved with the typical scroll work. Checkered pistolgrip deluxe walnut buttstock and schnabel forend are in excellent condition while retaining most original varnish and just a few light handling mars. Schuetzen style buttplate is toning to a silvery gray patina. Complete with a functioning set trigger. Mechanics are excellent. A very beautiful Stevens-Pope rifle.
