This excellent Swiss single shot 22 caliber straight pull rifle was made from a K31 rifle by A. Furter of Olten. With the exception of the stock and furniture, all other parts appear to be newly made. Furter is known for fine target rifles. The 25"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. It has a post front and elevation and windage adjustable rear sight. The gun has approx. 97% blue and rough black receiver finish with loss on the buttplate and triggerguard. The left oblique of the flat top receiver is marked A. Furter over Olten followed by the serial number, 272. The stock is excelltnt with little use. The action functions correctly with a very light trigger pull. This is a wonderful example of a rarely seen Swiss 22 caliber target rifle. Don't miss it!
