BG Defense Type-A MK12 SOPMOD 5.56 NATO 18" Barrel
Description: The Mk18 Mod1 or Special Purpose Rifle was used heavily by Special Operations Forces of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. It’s a modified light designated marksman variation of the M16 chambered in 5.56x45mm. This TYPE-A Mk12 Mod1 is built on an accurate Long Rifle platform with proven mil-spec components to make it an incredibly versatile rifle. The Mk12 Mod1 Long Rifle is equipped with a 18″ 416R Stainless steel match grade barrel with an Allen Engineering AEMB muzzle mount coupled with an SPR collar to fit an Allen AEM5 suppressor. It’s equipped with Type-A’s Picatinny handguard & B5 Sopmod furniture. The TYPE-A Mk12 Mod1 is driven by our TYPE-A QPQ bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish. It’s also equipped with a DGI (direct gas impingement) system and our new TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time. NOTE: All of our rifles are Hardcoat Anodized and then Cerakoted to give you a longer lasting more durable finish.
