The Daniel Defense line of Hunter rifles takes the best aspects of Daniels proven designs and tailor fits them to the modern sportsman. Built around an 18 Cold Hammer Forged barrel the Hunter 5.56 offers precision and accuracy with a wide variety of projectiles. Shielding the barrel and midlength gas system is the MFR 15.0 freefloating handguard. With a picatinny rail on top and MLOK attachment on the sides and bottom there is plenty of room for accessories. The barrel is threaded in 12x28 TPI and capped with a knurled thread protector which can be easily removed should you want to attach a suppressor or other muzzle device. The Hunter 5.56 comes from the factory with a Geissele Super SemiAutomatic 2stage trigger and an ambidextrous safety selector. The independent ambi GRIPNRIP Charging Handle is engineered for suppressed fire with antigas features that redirect gas flow upward and away from the face and operator. The Hunter comes standard with Daniel Defense Buttstock and Pistol Grip and is finished in a vivid hydrodipped Kryptek Highlander camo pattern.
