Stevens #1 Tip-up
22 Single shot.
Description: *VERY NICE* Stevens #1 Tip-Up Rifle without forearm, in .22 Rimfire.( S/L/LR). Circa 1880's. This piece is in wonderful condition for 130years old. Gun functions as it should. 24" half octagon barrel with excellent bore. Sharp rifling and no pitting. Tang sight as well as rear barrel sight and fold down globe front. Some flaking of nickel finish on lever and right side of receiver, but quite minimal overall. Blueing is quite good, but may be an old reblue, based only on the loss of most of the address line under the J. Stevens on barrel flat. Wood finish looks original and is overall very good, There is a small crack at receiver on top left side of tang(see pic). also a fine crack coming off bottom of top tang on right side. Otherwise this old relic is superb. Stock is tight and solid. A very neat old antique piece in great shape. No FFL needed for this one. $50.00 Shipping & Insurance(lower 48) Thanks for looking.
