<<<<SOLD>>>>  A very colorfull Indian Trade musket from the Pacific northwest with a brass serpant side plate, that looks chisel engraved . This pony gun measures about 42 1/2" long overall and has brass tacks, and raw hide leather wrapping, and comes with a simple hardwood ram-rod that may be a replacement. Looks to me ike oit had been cleaned up long ago and possibly applied floor wax for preservation in museums. The lock works well and the rifeld bore is abput .60 caliber, and has a single cock. some parts may not be orignlal like a screw on the side plate. Overall would make a good wall ahnger for that Western room.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
