H. Lehman Kentucky/Plains 50 caliber half stock rifle
Description: On Hold Sale pending. I'm not sure if this is considered a Pennsylvania, Kentucky or Plains rifle, I believe this large 50 caliber rifle was made for the western trade circa 1850. The 37 inch barrel is marked H. Lehman and has a dark brown patina along wa buckhorn rear sight and a brass front sight. The striped stock is in good condition with a couple cracks near the toe. The stock has a great brass patch box, trigger group and but plate with a mellow light brown patina. The lock is marked London Warranted and functions. The nipple is in good condition. The bore is approximately 50 caliber with good deep rifling but needs cleaning. Overall a nice historic antique plains rifle. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at chriskobberdahl2gmail. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00 by priority mail. On Hold Sale Pending SOLD Antique: Yes Manufacturer: H.
