"Stunning Swiss Model 1851 Federal Percussion Carbine (AL5176)

Description:
"Stunning Swiss Model 1851 Federal percussion carbine. The overall length is approximately 49.5". The 32" octagon to round .41 caliber (10.4mm) barrel has an excellent bore. The barrel has all of its original brown finish. The front sight is a replacement. The left flat at the breech has the serial number 749. Above that is marked SCHAFFHAUSEN in an arc over S.I.G. The top flat is marked OUSSSTHAL. The right flat forward of the bolster is marked EV. The breech has two sets of inspection marks. The left stock flat has a light inspection mark. The lock is unmarked. The lock, breech, tang, and hammer have very nice case colors. The stock is excellent with a few storage dings. This fine carbine has double set triggers and a Stutzen style butt plate. This exceptional Swiss Model 1851 Federal Percussion Carbine is ready for the finest collection of Swiss or European arms.
