NSN, circa 1720-1750, .78 caliber, 40.5"" round barrel. Originally manufactured as a pinned barrel and supplied to the colonist by the British during the French and Indian War. Later brass barrel bands were added by Americans. Barrel and iron furniture are a smooth dark grey patina, Stock shows expected nicks and dings and is in overall very good condition. Brass pieces have a nice gold undertone patina. Action holds at half and full cock. A true musket of two early American wars!
