Marlin, 1889 rifle, 44/40 caliber

SOLD , this rifle has sold , Listing a old 1889 Marlin I've owned a while and shot more than a few times, she's got a 28" octagon barrel, sn 67773 which puts year of Mfg at 1892. I've read around 55k were made between 1889 and 1903, most in the three pistol calibers but I heard 34 were made in 25/20. Wouldn't mind knowing their where about's.the bore and rifling on this old gal are near perfect. Levers and cycles just fine. Most were 24" barrel length so she's a bit rare in that part. Anne Oakley used a 89 Marlin as did several others in those early Wild West Shows. That  new solid top reciever and  side eject was something that made Marlin a favorite. Oh I've got some Winchesters as well but this brand of rifle needs to take a back seat to none of them. The pictures I believe show the metals aged patina and the wood for being 129 years old looks pretty decent. I'm going to put a price which includes shipping to the lower 48.
