Harder
Description: A 32 inch 8 lb octagen rifle conversion probably by J. Harder of Penn. with cleaning rod attached instead of a ram-rod.These guns were converted by Harder using Civil War surplus Spencer Carbines for use in the wesern trade in competition to the Hawkens of St Louis. I do not shoot my antique guins and have not measued the bore, buy I assume it is in the .45 to .56 caliber range. The gun has no barrel markings but many of these gun s were produced with Remington barrels which are marked on the under side but I have not taken this gun apart to check. If interested it is best to text me as I do not answer callers I do not know. I can produce as many fotos as are needed and prefer a "NO RETURN" policy. PS: Will trade a combination of these guns for a Win. 66 carbine. Price: $3,750.00 Buy Now Antique: Yes Rifle Caliber: .50 Spencer Manufacturer: Harder ?
