This listing is for a LNIB & very collectible Browning AIRSTAR 200 air rifle in .177 / 4.5mm caliber. Manufactured in Herstal, Belgium by J&L Rutten, rifle is high quality and fairly heavy at 9.3lbs. Unique electronic cocking action uses a rechargeable battery that provides 250 shots per charge and functions perfectly. BAC marked with Morgan/Montreal address, the satin walnut stock and blued steel metal are blemish free. Power switch and charging input are in the hard rubber grip cap. The button in the trigger guard functions as both the cocking switch and the saftey - after the button is pressed to cock the rifle it must be pressed again to make the trigger live which illuminates the red LED indicator.
LOP = 14.25" to factory recoil pad. Adjustable rear sight & front globe sight w/ 6 inserts, 780 FPS with an adjustable trigger, finely machined loading port with Buckmark. Includes the original Browning marked charger and battery, which still holds a charge but has lost capacity, as well as a new Tamiya battery, the owner's manual and original box. These were expensive when made in the early 90's and not many were sold. The AIRSTAR 200 is a unique item and an ideal air rifle for shooters young and old that have trouble cocking stronger air rifles.
