TEXAS RANGERS ISSUED WINCHESTER & COLT BICENTENNIAL 3-GUN SET - NEW IN BOX
Description: For sale we have a special 200th Anniversary/Bicentennial Texas Rangers set of 3 guns - Winchester model 1873 lever action rifle in .45 Colt with the matching Colt Single Action Army in .45 Colt and Colt 1911 in .45 ACP, issued to Texas Ranger Chris Ecker. The rifle is incredibly rare piece is one of only 500 such firearms contracted to Winchester to be manufactured for the Texas Rangers Law Enforcement. These rifles were manufactured by Winchester in 2023 to commemorate the 200 year anniversary of the Texas Rangers, and were only offered to active duty or retired Texas Rangers. This rifle is serial number 147 out of less than 500 completed rifles, and features an oil finished, checkered high grade walnut stock and forend with case colored buttplate, forend cap, and receiver, and 24-1/4" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Bicentennial Ranger receiver engraving was completed by Baron Engraving. This set is an exclusive piece of Texas history, and will seldom be seen by or offered to the public, as most of these will remain in Ranger hands as family heirlooms. The rifle is very rare at less than 500 manufactured. Even more rare is the matching Colt Single Action Army, one of less than 300 issued. The Colt 1911 is matching to the set, as well, all issued to Texas Ranger Chris Ecker, all serialized 147. The entire set is in new, unfired condition, and comes in factory boxex with all factory papers. The box is labeled by serial number to Ranger Ecker. The purchaser of this will receive a hand signed and notarized letter from Ranger Ecker stating the provenance of the all three guns. The Winchester lever action has not been cycled, the Colt Single Action Army is unturned in the factory box, and the 1911 is new as received from factory. Yes, we will accept firearms on trade.
