Description: General Specs: U.S. Fire Arms MFG. Co, Modern, .45LC, 39oz, 7 1/2" Serial Number: Description Famously made in the Colt manufacturing building in Hartford, Connecticut the USFA manufactured firearms have been held in high regard since their inception. The following is taken from U.S Fire arms manual included with the gun: Established in 1993, U.S. Fire Arms Mfg. Co. is based in Hartford, CT in the historic East Armory, a part of the original Colt Firearms facility. All firearms are designed by U.S. Fire Arms to be historically accurate, hand-assembled recreations that reflect the craftsmanship and quality of the firearms once made in this facility. In 2011, U.S. Fire Arms closed its production of the SAA. To find a Henry Nettleton Model in 100% factory condition and unfired is remarkable. This gun has been admired but never fired. Overall stunning fit and finish with Case Color by Turnbull. The gun bears all the correct HN markings and the left grip panel cartouche J.E.G (ordnance Inspector Capt. John E. Greer) with the date 1878 and on the right hand grip the cartouche of Henry Nettleton (N.H.).
