This gun features a Steel grip frame with blued 5-shot cylinder, and a 6.5” barrel, an unusual feature on this small revolver with fixed sights and blued finish. This revolver is built stronger and with a .36 caliber. These pocket-sized revolvers represented the advancement of earlier models like the 1849 Pocket. Longer barrel lengths like 6-1/2” maximized velocity and accuracy compared to earlier pocket models. The pocket police features a forged steel frame, pocket sized grip, rebated and half fluted cylinder, army style round barrel and ratchet loading lever, and a brass post front sight.
