Uberti Model 1873 Frisco Cattleman Reproduction Revolver in .45 Colt Caliber **LNIB - Beautiful Bluing and Case Hardening**

Presented for consideration is a very nice Uberti reproduction model 1873 Cattleman Frisco configuration single action revolver in .45 Colt. In 1873, Colt’s single-action Army (SAA) revolver became the Army’s standard sidearm. Cavalry troopers were armed with the new revolvers. Lawmen and outlaws alike were quick to adopt the handy new 6-shooter which earned the nickname “Peacemaker.” As far as reproduction single action revolvers are concerned Uberti makes some of the finest available. Mechanically this example is perfect. There are two very small spots of VERY slightly thinning on one side of the cylinder....honestly looks like that area rubbed against cardboard or something during shipment. The charcoal bluing and rich case hardening are beautiful in tone and intensity. The mother of pearl grips are pristine. Being true to the original the firing pin is incorporated into the hammer meaning that the hammer should rest on an empty chamber for safety. The minty 5 1/2" barrel has a bright bore with factory strong rifling. This very well made Uberti is a very cost effective way to get into a traditional 1873 single action revolver and avoid breaking the bank. This is a fine revolver.
