Also known as the Cattelman. This fine gun is as good as a Colt SAA for fit and finish. The Uberti 1873 Cattleman black powder model is manufactured by Uberti just like the standard cartridge 1873 Cattleman revolvers. It features a steel frame and is chambered in 44 caliber. It is a great option for people who want the look of the 1873 Single Action without needing to use cartridge ammunition.Strong colorcase hardening , and full bliebarrel and cylinder.This cannot be converted to center fire! This 44 caliber percussion revolver has all the features a cartridge Colt Single Action Army revolver, but with a removable black powder cylinder. Authentic color case hardened steel frame, fluted cylinder, fixed sights and 1-piece walnut grips.Super clean used sparingly clean bore and nipples still blued. Indexes and locks up tight.Advise:  I would use 15-25gr of FFFg with a wad placed between powder and ball, and a lube such as bore butter, or combination of olive oil/ beeswax over the ball in the cylinder. It's also super important to clean immediately after each range cession with a black-powder solvent followed by a rust preventative such as Barricade or WD-40. Blackpowder is very corrosive, and will start to rust it literally in hours after firinges with a Uberti box.,
