Nice Uberti Copy of a 1836 No. 5 "Texas Model" Colt Paterson Revolver Discontinued, Unfired in Box
Description:
This is a nice unfired example of a Uberti Paterson revolver. Comes with original box and paperwork. Cylinder appears to be unturned with no drag line. A gunsmith friend of mine whose used to build miniature Patersons and has worked on some real ones told me these Uberti's were the closest copies to the original Paterson...at least production-wise. Uberti manufactured these from the early 1990's to the early to mid 2000's. We looked the date code up and this example was made in 2002 towards the end of the run. It has the standard blue/black finish with case colored floor plate, trigger, backstrap, and hammer. Walnut grips have a nice light reddish orange hue. It's almost 20 years old so there are a few tiny light scratches if you look very closely, but it's pretty close to mint with no edge or handling wear. These are getting hard to find and don't show up on the market very often...especially unfired in the box.
