This specimen is a .22 Long Rifle revolver designed as a high-quality training and target shooting handgun. It was introduced in the late 1940s as a smaller-caliber version of the Model 15 Combat Masterpiece, which was chambered in .38 Special and it continued in popularity well into the 1980s. This specimen, serial number C348787 is all original and in superb condition. It appears to be unused and has just a couple of minute storage marks. It comes in an original factory revolver box although the number on the bottom of box does not match (and with the factory white crayon markings can be removed if desired with a little alcohol.
