Synopsis: Smith & Wesson, Mark II Revolver, British .455 Eley, 9307, FB00817 Description: Desirable Smith & Wesson Mk II Hand Ejector revolver, WWI era, with British proofs , chambered in .455. This is the second iteration of the Triple Lock revolver with the same high polish brilliant blue finish. 6.5’’ barrel with half moon front sight, two line address, and channel rear sight. S&W logo on sideplate. Frame and crane with matching assembly number “3814”. Usual British proofs with the more extensive proofing under barrel. Serial number on butt. Fitted with the checkered S&W logo grips, neither one numbered, and rotatable case hardened lanyard ring. Condition: VG bright original blue with scattered small knicks, scratches and oxidative flecking as photographed, especially on the front and backstarp. Crisp grips, the right panel with a little more darkening. Correct manual mechanics with each cylinder locking into place against light resistance. Mirror bore. ~~Insured shipping fee of $55; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
