This Smith & Wesson was produced before 1915. The pistol's serial number is 1367. It has the 6 1/2 inch pinned barrel. This pistol is known as the Triple Lock Model of 1908 Military Revolver. This pistol is still chambered for the 455 Webley cartridge and not altered. There is several British proof marks and property marks on this revolver. This is a service used pistol. This revolver has not been abused during it's service life. The action works smoothly with a nice trigger release. The bore and chambers are in very fine condition with bright bores. The crane hold open plunger is intact and works nicely. The lock up is tight as expected. The grips are the original grips for this pistol. These grips show wear but no damage or wood loss. The color cased hammer And trigger still show traces of vivid color. The original bluing would rate around 87% overall condition. This is a very nice condition service used Triple Lock revolver!
