CASED SMITH & WESSON ENGRAVED MODEL 1-1/2 FIRST ISSUE REVOLVER

Description:
Checkered Ivory grips. Fitted in a dealers display case marked "B. Kittredge & Co Cincinnati". A deluxe French style fitted case with a removable lid over the cartridge storage. Case is in fine condition. 5 Shot single action Tip-Up revolver with 3-1/2 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 RF caliber. Overall gun I believe is refinished. Done very well with sharp corners and excellent markings. Mechanical condition is very good with the exception that it doesn't hold in full cock. An attractive little outfit. The First Issues were made from 1865-1868.
