Viewed by many as the HOLY GRAIL of all 686's, this is the mighty 686-4 6 shot 357 mag with the ultra desirable 3" barrel. According to S&W, this revolver started life with a 6" barrel so it has been converted at some point. Pretty crazy considering how rare these 3" barrels are to find. Please note this is NOT a late model -6 barrel with the larger roll marks. This thing is in fantastic condition with ZERO rust or pitting of any kind. You may find one or two tiny handling marks but the pics don't lie….it is gorgeous! Ultra clean with almost no flame cutting on the top strap. Beautiful case coloring on the hammer and trigger. Mechanics are “AS NEW” with perfect timing on each hole, ZERO cylinder end shake and a dead tight lockup! Action is very smooth. Comes with a killer set of factory Lady Smith style smooth magnas. No case or docs but it will be shipped with extreme care!
