*SOLD* Smith & Wesson Model 17-8 10 Shot Revolver Chambered in .22 Long Rifle w/ 6" Barrel & Full Underlug **Scarce Alloy 10 Shot Cylinder Variation**

Description:
Here we have a scarce variation of the famous Smith & Wesson Model 17-8 revolver chambered in .22 long rifle caliber. This particular example is rather interesting because it has a full underlug below the 6-inch barrel and a 10-shot alloy cylinder. The bore is minty with strong rifling. The combination of the alloy cylinder and the full underlug makes for a very stable target revolver. Sights are a Patridge front and a blacked-out adjustable rear. The alloy cylinder has a bit of high edge wear otherwise the finish is very minty with light turn rings. Soft, finger-grooved Hogue® Monogrip® provides a very sure and stable gripping surface. The hammer and trigger retain their color just like they left the factory. This fine Smith & Wesson would make a great addition to an existing collection or a great gun to take to the range.
