S&W Model 3 - .44 Russian 3rd Model - Commercial

Description:
Gun tight as new with no appreciable wear except for slight play at cylinder stop. Rifling good with light black powder pitting. All mechanical features excellent. Period modified with backstrap slightly reshaped and trigger guard spur removed. Removing the spur was common at this time. Original blue finish turned deep brown patina and never cleaned. Hammer with case color. Excellent grips marked inside with #1046 and "Denis Keeth" inscription. #369 stamped on back of cylinder. No seral # on but.. Nice early piece peferred in the West .
