Smith & Wesson .38 Double Action Perfected Model, Cal. .38 S&W

Description:
The S&W .38 Double Action Perfected Model was made from 1909 to 1920, with approximately 59,400 manufactured.  The 5-shot double action top break revolvers were fitted with either a 3 1/4, 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, fixed sights, checkered hard rubber grips with an S&W monogram, blue or nickel finished, trigger guard is integral part of frame and the side plate is on the right side (not the left side), last of the S&W top breaks and identified by having both a top latch and side latch, and is chambered in .38 S&W.  This Perfected Model is as described and is fitted with a 3 1/4 inch barrel and is blue finished.  It is in excellent original condition, retaining 98% original blue finish, with the hammer and trigger retaining most all of their original color case hardened finishes.  The bore is perfect and an action functions as new, with a lock-up so tight, it puts the new Smith's to shame.  The grips, which number to the gun, are in like new condition.  Sorry, no box or paper-work.  A good looking, and unique, Top Break Smith & Wesson.                                     PRICE:    $1,095             We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
