Smith & Wesson .38 Double Action, Third Model, Cal. .38 S&W, 3 1/4 Inch Barrel, Nickel**SOLD**

Description:
The S&W .38 Double Action Third Model was made from 1884 to 1895, serial numbered from 119001 to 322700.  This S&W .38 Double Action Third Model (serial number: 291289) is fitted with a 3 1/4 inch barrel, black checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monograms, is nickel finished with color case-hardened finished hammer and trigger, and chambered in .38 S&W.  The 5-shot double action revolver is in fine original condition, retaining 80% original nickel, with the hammer and trigger retaining 60% of their finishes.  The bore is bright with sharp rifling, would be excellent except for a few very minor corrosion spots.  The action is tight and functions perfectly.  The right grip is in excellent condition, the left is in good condition, with 2 cracks repaired with glue.  It is all numbers matching, including the grips.  A decent example of its type.   ANTIQUE FIREARM.                                                            PRICE:                 We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
