Smith & Wesson .22 Masterpiece (Pre-Model 17), Cal. .22 LR, 1953 Vintage

Description:
S&W .22 Masterpiece (Pre-Model 17) fitted with a 6-inch pinned barrel, pinned Patridge target front sight, adjustable rear sight, trigger stop, checkered diamond S&W service grips fitted with S&W medallions, is blue finished and chambered in .22 LR.  This 1953 vintage .22 Masterpiece is in very fine original condition, retaining 90% original blue, with most loss/thinning on the cylinder and high edge wear on the barrel and frame.  The grips fit well and are in very fine original condition, retaining most of their original finishes, with assorted minor handling marks/dings.  The bore is bright with sharp rifling.  The action functions well except for not having a total lock-up on 3 of the cylinders, even when the trigger is depressed (applies when slowly cocked, cocked quickly works fine).   Sorry, no box or paperwork.   The Gun is all numbers matching (Frame to the cylinder, barrel, crane, and grips).                            CURIO & RELIC                                                                                     PRICE:    $800             We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.                    PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell, and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have an Individual Firearm,  Firearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, and we can buy or consignment sell it for you.                   NOTE:  No additional fee for a Credit Card payment.
