1925 Vintage S&W .44 Hand Ejector 2nd Model fitted with a 6 -/2 inch barrel, checkered diamond walnut grips, fixed front and rear sight, is nickel finished, and chambered in .44 S&W Special. This all-numbers matching (frame to cylinder, barrel, and crane) 6-shot .44 Hand Ejector has certainly seen some use, retaining approximately 70% of its original factory nickel finish, with scattered corrosion, thinning at the muzzle and a drag line on the cylinder. The bore has strong rifling, is bright, but shows minor corrosion throughout. The action is in perfect time and locks up tight. The un-numbered factory grips retain most all of their original finish with only a few minor handling marks, a small chip on the lower rear of the left panel, and a small crack on the right panel. All of the screw-heads on this revolver are sharp. This is revolver seems to have been carried a lot more than it was shot. This would make an excellent shooter at a great price.
