** SOLD ** 1960 Vintage Smith & Wesson Model 29 chambered in .44 Magnum w/ 8 3/8" Barrel ** 4-Screw w/ Coke Grips **

Description:
Presented here is a 1960 manufactured Smith & Wesson Model 29 chambered in .44 Magnum. This particular Model 29 features a 4-screw design, high polished blue finish, 8 3/8" barrel, ramped front sight with red insert, adjustable rear sight, target hammer, target trigger, and factory "coke bottle" checkered grips. The high polished blue finish rates at 95% with the deductions being slight muzzle wear, a light drag line on the cylinder, various scattered handling marks, and slight bluing loss on the cylinder. The factory "coke bottle" grips are in excellent overall condition and fit well to the frame. The grips show no signs of cracks, chips, or repairs, and just show a slight amount of handling wear along the checkering. The bore of the 8 3/8" barrel is immaculate with no signs of pitting or imperfections. The cylinder is in equally as immaculate condition and shows no signs of pitting or corrosion. All the factory markings are fully legible and all the controls function 100%. Both the target hammer and target trigger still retain a vast majority of their original case coloring and both show faint signs of finish loss due to cycling. The action on this Model 29 is buttery-smooth in both single and double-action pull. This Smith & Wesson Model 29 would make an outstanding addition to any collection and shows just enough wear to be used at the range without feeling bad. Sorry, no box or paperwork with this one.
