Aside from that, the original factory finish is turning to an appropriately aged patina that reflects the fact that this is a military service sidearm that was made over a century ago. ""United States Property"" is marked on bottom of the barrel, an eagle head over ""S6"" is on the left side of the frame by the grip & an eagle head over ""S2"" is concealed by the ejector rod. Comes with a 1944-dated Milwaukee Saddlery Co. leather holster. Consignment
