** SOLD ** Smith & Wesson Model 60 Chiefs Special Stainless Revolver Chambered in .38 Special **Minty - Mfg 1976 - No Lock**
Description:
Here we have a very nice Smith & Wesson Model 60 5 shot revolver chambered in .38 special caliber made in 1976. A stainless steel development of the Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special revolver, the Model 60 has a swing-out cylinder, and features an exposed hammer. It has been in production since 1965, and was the first regular production all stainless steel firearm made. This example is a "no dash" model that does not have the integral locking mechanism. This gun has some handling marks but nothing serious. Most of the wear is on the right side of the frame with a few very light scuffs. The walnut grip panels are excellent exhibiting no cracks or chips. Lock up in the "fired" position is very tight.....everything works as it should. The 2 inch barrel has good strong rifling. This fine Model 60 would make an excellent concealed carry gun where permitted by state and local laws.
PRICE: We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, a dealer of fine firearms since 1974.
