A desirable configuration S&W Model 36-1, it is fitted with a 3 inch pinned barrel, checkered wood service grips with S&W medallions, is built on a round butt frame, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This 5-shot revolver is in fine original condition, retaining 98% blue, with assorted minor handling marks, and 2 area's of pitting on the cylinder (see pictures). The grips fit well and are in very fine condition, retaining 98% of their original finish, with a few minor handling marks. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly with a very tight lock-up on all 5 cylinders. Comes with its original, numbered to the gun box, all paper-work, and the factory provided screw-driver, cleaning rod, and bore brush.
