Description:
Here is a beautiful and not too often seen Smith and Wesson revolver. This is a Smith and Wesson Model 29-4 "Classic" with an 8-3/8" full underlug barrel, unfluted cylinder, and factory polished blue finish. This configuration is very cool but fairly uncommon. This beauty was built in either 1988 or 1989. This gun was built before Smith & Wesson started using "Metal Injection Molds" and internal locks in their guns which makes it that much better and more desirable. In excellent condition overall! The action works great and the lockup is tight. The bore is minty with sharp crisp rifling. The blued finish really sets this gun off from the modern guns as you cannot get a full underlug blued S&W 29 anymore. The finish is in great shape at probably 90-95% with only a few light scratches that are on the barrel. Has a nice set of rubber Hogue grips to tame the recoil. Factory sights which are adjustable in the rear and orange in the front. Nice factory wide spur target hammer, target trigger, and target sights.
