Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Double Action Revolver in .357 Magnum Caliber **Very Nice Condition - 6" Barrel**
Description: Here we have for consideration a very nice Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 revolver in .357 magnum caliber. The Smith & Wesson (S&W) Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, is an N-frame revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, in production from 1954 to 1986. It is a budget version of the S&W Model 27. This particular example is in very good condition both physically and mechanically. The cylinder locks up tightly in the "fired" condition and the gap between the barrel and cylinder is minimal. The 6" barrel has a good bore with strong rifling. Sights are a ramped front and adjustable rear. Grips are in very good condition being free of cracks or chips. Both sides of the grips retain good checkering and S&W medallions. Hammer and trigger retain very good color. This fine Highway Patrolman would be an awesome shooter or addition to a collection.
