S&W Model 10-5 Revolver 38 Spl

Description:
Serial #3D26063, .38 Special, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very nice, pinned barrel revolver whose metal surfaces retain 90-92% original blue with some silvering at the muzzle, along the sides of the topstrap, and most of the finish loss occurring on the ejector rod which is mostly pewter gray. There are a few other minor handling marks, a moderate turn-ring on the cylinder, as well as a small, unobtrusive import mark on the underside of the barrel. The color case-hardening is still strong on the hammer and trigger with only some trace gray fading along the edges. The checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions are correct but numbered to a different gun, and rate very good overall with light handling marks at the butt and a minor flattening of the points on either side. The lock-up is tight and the revolver rates fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL
