S&W Model 1899 Military and Police 38 Special

Description:
S&W model 1899 made without the lug on the barrel for a foreward latch as all later S&W's were made. This is the first of the M&P series of revolvers that continue to this day. This model was made from 1899 until 1902. Nickle plated with about 20% plating remaining.Hard rubber grips that show little wear for a gun of this age. An unusual example of the ealiest M&P revolvers. This gun was made without the barrel lug that was used on all later models. 5 inch barrel
