Nickel Finish S&W .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 2nd Change Revolver
Description:
Serial #121008, .38 Special, 4" barrel with a very good, bright bore that has a single dark spot of pitting about midway down the bore. This is a handsome, round-butt revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor, with the metal retaining about 75-80% of the original nickel finish. The balance of the metal has areas of dark plum-brown freckling where the nickel has worn through or flaked off. The checkered hard rubber grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior with some mild flattening of the points and two impact marks at the butt of the right panel. Additionally, there are some previous owners’ names scratched into the rubber on the interiors of both panels. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a very nice revolver that has all matching numbers and is in very good condition overall. FFL or C&R
