The Ruger pistol's serial numbers are 148-12278 and 148-12279. They are fitted with 5 1/2 inch barrels. These 45 cap and ball revolvers have the standard factory blued finish. Each pistol is fitted with three cylinders that have the last three numbers of the serial number of the pistol stamped on the cylinder face. The cylinders are also marked number one two and three for each set. These pistols are new in their boxes with the factory papers and nipple wrench for each pistol. The boxes have the matching end labels and are serial numbered to the pistol inside the box. This set was special ordered for a Cowboy action shooter who never used them. This is a very rare combination to order from the factory! This pistol set is really for the Ruger Pistol collector to drool over! I really doubt that there is another such set ordered from the factory out there! Here is a chance to add a very unusual and rare Factory Ruger Pistol set for your collection!
