1997 Vintage Stainless Ruger Old Model Vaquero in .45 Colt

Description: This is a very nice all-original stainless steel "Old Model" Ruger Vaquero with a 4 & 5/8ths" barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt. It was manufactured in 1997 and appears to have had a very easy life. The stainless steel construction is very low maintenance and durable, perfect for the shooter/hunter that may encounter inclement weather. These "old model" Vaqueros are preferred by many as they are very heavy duty guns. The stainless steel on this example shows only a few minor handling/storage marks but is otherwise spotless and very attractive. The bore is in minty condition with perfect, sharp rifling and with no visible imperfections. The six cylinder bores are equally as nice. The original hardwood grips with silver and black Ruger medallions are in excelllent condition, free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or visible wear. All of the controls on this Ruger function 100% like-new and the action is slick, precise, and perfectly "in time". The mechanics in this Vaquero are absolutely perfect. This .45 Colt Vaquero comes with a factory Ruger box with no label. If you have been looking for one of these old model Vaqueros for your collection as an investment and shooter, this 1997 production gun would be an excellent choice.
