Ruger Security Six revolver made for the 50th Anniversary of the Ohio State Highway Patrol in 1983. Ruger made some commemoratives for police departments around the country, including this model. This double action revolver is stainless with a 6 inch barrel, caliber .357 Magnum. Cylinder holds six rounds, bore is mint. Checkered walnut grips. This revolver is in as new, unfired condition.
The revolver has the OHP logo on the left side of the frame between the cylinder and the grips, and reads "Golden Anniversary, State Highway Patrol, Ohio, 1933-1983". It is also marked "OSP 1592" beneath the cylinder on the left side. Serial number, located on bottom of the frame, is 158-85082.
Wood presentation case with red velvet lining has the OHP logo on the top, it is in excellent condtion. Original manual is included.
