Scarce Remington Smoot Revolver w/ Early Revolving Recoil Shield

Description:
This is a fine example of the Scarce Remington Smoot Revolver with the early Revolving Recoil Shield. This example exhibits around 90-92% original finish. There is a light 704 mark on the lower left side of the frame as well as “CG” on the frame. Those markings are unknown to me at this time. Great condition wood grips. The mechanical action of the Revolver is excellent. Only around 500-600 of this rare early Revolver were manufactured.
