Description:
6-1/8 inch round barrel. Overall metal is a grey/brown patina. Frame and cylinder have some nice engraving. On the left side of the barrel reads " J. Chaineux Brevete" . The side of the cylinder has the Liege proof mark. I believe this is one of the later Chaineux revolvers as it has the guided extractor mechanism. Nice action. Walnut checkered grips are worn quite smooth but in good overall condition. Engraved grip cap with lanyard ring. This is a nice example piece as very few of these Chaineux Pinfire revolvers can be found today.
