ANTIQUE ENGRAVED FRENCH LEFAUCHEUX M 1854 MADE BY LEPAGE PARIS 12mm PINFIRE REVOLVER CIVIL WAR

I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique French Engraved Single Action Lefaucheux Model 1854 Hi Grade made by "LePage Frères 12 rue d'Enghien Paris" chambered in the largest 12 mm Military Pinfire caliber, with a 6.375" Round Barrel with good bright bore with good rifling, clean chambers, 6 round cylinder with a good timing. Very good varnished walnut wood grips with its lanyard ring. I believe it was an special order imported to the US during or just after the Civil War after the success of the those Lefaucheux Pin-Fire Revolver during the Civil War as the favored side arm on bothe side of the conflict. FFL is not required. The original finish was left in the white rates good with tiny surface scratches here and there, action works well, it indexes well. The original pin-fire bullets shown on the pictures are not for sale. Some of those Pin-Fire revolvers were converted with success to center fire caliber. All visible on the pictures. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures. The US Civil War opened a good market to sell to both sides. Those modern PinFire revolvers were very were popular in 3 different calibers: 7mm, 9mm & 12mm. all the German, Belgium, Spain manufactured those revolvers under the French Lefaucheux  "SGDG" marked in an oval on the right side of the frame. Very collectible & good example these scarce Colt revolvers were part of the American history.
