Thompson Patriot .45 cal single shot pistol

Description:
With a SN l #8951, and a .45 cal., with a 10” octagon barrel with a mostly bright about very good bore showing some scattered patches of light oxidation/discoloration near the muzzle, with clean, strong rifling. The barrel and barrel tang retain about 97% original blue with some spots of very light oxidation around the nipple and left side of the muzzle along with some very light high edge silvering and scattered light handling marks. The brass mountings have aged to a warm goldenrod patina and the lockplate and hammer retain about 95% original case-hardened finish with some light oxidation on the hammer nose and a touch of light muting to gray on the spur and front of the lockplate. The smooth walnut stock rates about excellent with a touch of finish wear behind the bolster and a few light handling marks. The original sights and ramrod are intact, the single-acting double set triggers appear to function well mechanically and the action is strong and crisp
