Description: ***SOLD*** St. Etienne Mre De Armes Model 1873 11mm Center Fire French Military Revolver, dated to 1881. The Model 1873 revolver was a common sight in the trenches of France in WWI, and features a correct "in the white" finish, with checkered walnut grip panels. The revolver features a 6 round capacity, with a loading gate, ejector rod, double and single action mechanism, and a lanyard loop on the base of the grip. The revolver is in great working order with solid timing and lockup, with a fully functional trigger mechanism, in addition to excellent bore and chamber surfaces, with good rifling. The gun appears to be entirely matching, with the exception of the cylinder, which was likely swapped out during an arsenal cleaning or repair. French proof marks and various other markings can be seen throughout the frame and barrel. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the revolver.
